APPENDIX 1
GUIDE TO PERSONS MAKING A SUBMISSION TO THE INQUIRY
Submissions may take any form which the person making the
submission feels appropriate.
submission feels appropriate.
However, so that submissions can be identified we would ask
persons to clearly indicate the following:-
1. The name of the person making the submission.
2.
Where the submission is made by or on behalf of a
group, the name of that group and the persons comprised within it.
3.
The submissions should be signed.
4.
The person making the submission should indicate
whether there is any objection (and if so the basis of that objection) to
making the submission public.
5.
Whether the person making the submission wishes to
support it by oral evidence.
Further, it would greatly assist the Inquiry if in the course of
the submission the following matters could be made clear:-
-
Whether the proposals, or any of them, in whole or
in part, are supported or objected to.
-
The grounds of the support or objection.
-
The evidence or basis for the point of view put forward.
Any matter which you feel within the terms of reference of the Inquiry
should be included in the submission. Purely as a guide the following questions
